A 30 second trailer for 'Opacity', written and directed by Rory Dillett. Struggling to fit into society and form real relationships, a man sparks up a friendship online with a woman who helps him to open up and be himself, yet his newfound social life has an adverse effect on her.

Short documentary about the impact of COVID-19 on lower league Scottish football, centred on Queen of the South FC. This is a video that I directed, wrote, shot and edited, and is about a subject matter close to my heart. It showcases well the feelings of fans and those that work in the sphere of Scottish football about how the lack of crowds is affecting the sport financially and mentally. The film takes the viewer through the matchday experience; meeting in town for a pint, walking to the stadium, watching the game; yet the pandemic has forced the pubs to shut, the turnstiles to remain closed and the fans to remain in the house, turning what would usually be a bustling atmosphere around the town into a quiet, eerie place.

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, a young man finds his flatmates acting strange after he is disturbed by a mysterious loud noise. As reality begins to unwind, he finds himself looking back at his life and questioning choices made in his past, with potentially deadly consequences. Written and directed by Rory Dillett.
