Aspiring Filmmaker

I am an aspiring runner, production assistant and filmmaker from Edinburgh, having recently graduated with a BA with First Class Honours in Television at Edinburgh Napier University. I have been working and living in New Zealand for the past year, and I am returning to Scotland aiming to gain experience in the Creative Industries.

 

As a newcomer to video production and filmmaking only a short time ago, I have had to learn how to plan, produce, film, edit and promote films from scratch, yet I have quickly cultivated a style and method in my work. This learning process means that I am equally at home making factual films and dramas, and I am competent in many other areas of production. I have written and directed the short films 'Opacity' and 'Thump', the former being nominated at Sunrise Film Festival in the Best Student Film category, and plan on creating more projects like these.
